Blue Bucket Gold Mine
 OREGON

Located at mile 338 on HWY 84 approx 20 miles east Baker City

Here Roy Valentine is moving some dirt with his Cat, he has a nice RV park with a gold
mine to boot. He will let you move some of his gold bearing dirt through your equipment.

Notice the ancient river bed above his trommel he gets the material from up there.

Here my partner is getting ready to move some of that ancient river gravel Roy brought us.

He has a couple ponds set up with piles of gold bearing gravel for guests to use. Here I'm
trying out my new improved mini trommel. Every trip out in the field I find some little way
to improve on the trommel design. This trip I learned the discharge trough should be a bit
wider to accommodate the new wider sluice and I'm putting solid tires on future models.

The Gold Gals out 4 wheeling around camp, Blue Bucket has a lot of neat trails to explore.

Here is a sample of the Blue Bucket Gold, a gritty reddish gold, but gold none the less.
