Cache Creek, Colorado

Unfortunately the photos have gone missing!
If you see them please return them. :-)

Over the hill and out of sight far from the water I found Paul running

 a recirculator of his design.

Paul is from Colorado and comes to Cache Creek to test his equipment in

the goldfields. He's able to get some water from his nearest

neighbors with highbankers.

Another miner Peter from Colorado digging for the gold.

He has a neat classifier on the wheelbarrow.

He offered to let me work it for a while but I was busy. ;-)

Lots of neat homebuilt equipment to be seen. Here's a neat cart to haul

all your heavy stuff in with.

Russ from North Pole, Alaska was using it. This is his second version of the

cart, he uses it to haul in his highbanker equipment.

Here's Russ working his claim.

Up the hill I found Skyler from Utah and David from Arizona working their claim.

They have a highbanker operation in the shade.

I saw lots of interesting equipment.

Much of it was homemade and looked good, lots of good ole American injenuity at

work in these hills.

We had a great time and I hope to return again next year.

This is one nice propsecting area with gold set aside for us by BLM.

Everyone was respectfull of the environment and each other.

Thanks to everyone and BLM.
