Duisenburg California



Duisenburg is located in southeast California just a few miles
north of Randsburg off highway 58.. It's high desert country
hot in the day and cold at night.



This is the LDMA clubhouse they have a caretaker that stays
here year around. No hookups or dump stations for RV's yet
but they do have some water available for panning.



I went durning the November Outing, here they are getting
ready to do a half days common dig. Where everyone pitches
in and with a loader doing most of the work move dirt through
that large bellows drywasher.



Here's that drywasher in action, its actualy 4 drywashers in one.
People feed the back side and rake tailing on the other side to
keep it flowing. The loader brings new dirt to process from
the hill.



Here's a shot of the bucket brigrade sending buckets to the hopper.



If you didn't want to do the common dig you could do your own
drywashing nearby and still get gold.
