Starting at Granite, Colorado turn left here at Max's Store
Gas Station.

Be sure to stop and say Hi to Max and Donna, get a great breakfast
or a good cup of coffee to go. Max can tell you if the mine is open,
its a slow 8 - 9 mile drive up there.

Its hard to get lost there are plenty of signs that lead the way.

Here is the entrance to the gold mine.
Now your up at 12,200 ft take it easy.
Note: if you find the gate closed and locked you may have
arrived early. Jim locks it each night and opens it each morn.
