Nevada Field Trip
The Eureka Outdoor Club had an outing near Ely, Nevada
recently..
The members got the chance to work with a commercial
trommel
and one of my small gas trommels.
John Urses, (right) gave us permission to visit his claim for two days.

Everyone had the chance to run material through this
trommel. After which, they took the concentrates
back to camp
and panned for their gold.

move a large amount of material in one swoop. More
material
means more gold recovery.
