Land Matters is an Arizona nonprofit corporation, registered with the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501c3, tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

Charitable Status

Land Matters received its recognition of tax-exempt status from the IRS in January of 2016. You may verify the details of our exempt status with the IRS using their Tax Exempt Organization Search charity verification system.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes.

Land Matters is recognized as a non-profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity and you may deduct your contribution as provided in IRC Section 170 of the US Tax Code. Should you receive goods or services in exchange for your donation, Land Matters will let you know what portion of your donation is tax-deductible. Please contact us with any questions.

Because the formal recognition we received in January 2016 is applied retroactively to the date of our incorporation, any donation made prior to that date is also tax-deductible. Contact us if you have any questions or need a donation receipt.
