There are hundreds of Gem & Mineral societies in the US, local, regional, national and international. These organizations are the best place to get information on collection sites, regulations, and local rock hunting courtesy.

These groups put on the gem shows, organize field trips, host expert speakers and almost always have a newsletter with local rockhound news.

So whether you want to join a local group, or meet other rockhounds around the country, Land Matters can help you get connected.
